Plan: All plans

Role: All teammates

Recruit allows you to personalize how and when you receive updates about your hiring activities. You can choose which categories of notifications to receive and select your preferred channel (Email or Slack, if integrated).

đź’ˇTip: Learn more about the Slack integration with Recruit.

Configure your notifications

To configure your notifications:

  1. From your avatar at the top right, click My Account.
  2. Navigate to the Notifications tab.
  3. Configure notifications based on your preferences and click Save.

My tasks

These include all the tasks assigned to you, that is, tasks created when candidates land on a step assigned to you, new position roles assigned to you, and candidate status changes (applies to Recruiters, Managers, and Hiring Managers).

  • New and pending tasks— You can set your My Tasks notifications preferences by choosing from three options:
    • Immediate (recommended for Interviewers and position Managers): Every new task will create and send an email alert to your email address.
    • Aggregated (recommended for Recruiters): Recruit detects inactivity and sends you one email with all tasks when you are not logged in or working on the system. Aggregated emails will be sent out after 15, 30, 60, and 120 minutes of inactivity.
    • Don’t send
  • Evaluation due — Receive a reminder of overdue evaluations. Timely feedback helps hiring teams move quickly and make fair, consistent decisions. Evaluation reminders keep you accountable and prevent delays in the workflow.

My referrals

Employees who submit or refer candidates will receive fixed weekly updates with the status of their referrals and information about open positions in the company.

These notifications are configured at the company level by an Owner or Admin role. However, you can choose to enable or disable these weekly updates in your account settings.
