Connecting Recruit with Webflow allows you to automatically sync open positions from Recruit to your Webflow site. This integration ensures that your job postings stay up to date without requiring manual updates.

To set up the integration, you’ll need to generate an API token in Webflow, share it with the Recruit Support team, and publish a new collection in Webflow. Follow the steps below to get started.

Integration setup

1. Generate the API token

  1. Navigate to the site where you want to generate the API key.

  2. In the top left corner, click the three horizontal lines to open the menu and select Site Settings.

  3. On the left sidebar, click Apps & Integrations, scroll down to the “API access” section, and click Generate API token.

  4. Enter a name for your API token. This name is for internal use only, so choose one that describes its purpose. This will help avoid confusion in the future.

  5. Ensure the following permissions are granted:

    • Authorized user: Read-only

    • CMS: Read and write

    • Sites: Read and write

  6. After naming your API token, click Generate token. Be sure to copy the API token immediately. It will be hidden after this step and cannot be displayed again.

2. Send the token to Recruit

  1. Reach out to the Recruit Support team and share the API token with them. This token will allow Recruit to:

    1. Create a new collection with all required fields and populate it with all your open positions.

    2. Update open positions as they are changed.

    3. Set closed/deleted positions to draft.

  2. Once you provide the API key to Recruit, the integration process will begin. During this process, a new collection named SparkHire Recruit Positions will be created on your site, and it will be populated with all the open positions from Recruit.

📝 Note: You have full control over this token and can revoke it at any point.

3. Manually publish the new collection

After the SparkHire Recruit Positions collection is created and populated, the site owner must manually publish it by clicking the Publish button.

⚠️Important: The collection must be published manually before Recruit can begin updating, adding, or removing positions. If it is not published, Recruit will be unable to manage the positions.

Once the collection is published, Recruit will automatically update, add, or remove positions.

Embed the Application Form or Sharing widgets (optional)

Recruit allows you to add the Application Form and the Sharing widgets directly to your Webflow position pages. Follow the steps below to add them.

1. Edit the template page

Open the SparkHire Recruit Positions Template in your Webflow project. This is the template used to render individual job pages.

2. Add custom code

In your template settings, add custom JavaScript code (not visible to users) containing the Recruit widget script.

Before pasting, replace the following fields:

  • -- your token -- → your company token
  • -- your company uid --- → your company UID
  • -- your company name --- → your company code

💡 To find your Company UID and API token, from your avatar at the top right, navigate to Settings > Sourcing > Careers Website and scroll down to Integrated website > Careers API.

3. Place the Application form widget

  1. Navigate to the location on the template where the application form should appear.
  2. Add a Code Embed element.

  3. In the window that opens, paste the Recruit widget script.
  4. Locate the placeholder text "position_uid" inside the script.
  5. Highlight "position_uid" and click + Add Field.
  6. From the list of options, select uid.

This replaces the placeholder with the UID of the position being viewed. When published, Webflow will dynamically insert the correct UID, and the script tag will be replaced with the actual application form.

To add the Social Sharing widget to the position page, follow the same steps above.
