Plan: Growth, Enterprise
Role: Owner ✧ Admin ✧ Recruiter ✧ Recruiting coordinator
Before getting started
- Identify 2-3 jobs to start with where assessments will add the most value. This helps you get familiar with the process before expanding further. If you’re not sure which jobs to start with, consider roles that:
- Receive a high volume of applications
- Have high turnover rates, where better hiring could improve retention
- Are critical to your organization’s success
Limitations
- You can create and edit predictive profiles only in Meet, including custom profiles.
- Coaching and Individual Reports are available only in Meet and can’t be downloaded from Recruit.
Configure integration
- From the left-side menu, go to Apps.
-
Under Offered by Spark Hire, select the Spark Hire Meet tile, and then Continue to setup.
- Copy the API key, navigate to Spark Hire Meet, and sign up with your Admin account.
-
Paste the API key and complete the setup on Spark Hire Meet.
- Return to Recruit and click Activate.
Add the Predictive Behavioral Assessment step to your workflow
👤 Role: All teammates with permission to edit positions
- In Recruit, click on a position and navigate to the position’s workflow.
- Add a new step or select an existing one. We recommend placing the Predictive Behavioral Assessment step after the AI Resume Review and setting it to Auto-start (turn on the Auto-start toggle), so assessments are automatically sent when candidates reach that step.
- Change the step type to Predictive Behavioral Assessment.
- Select the teammate assigned to the step.
-
Select the relevant assessment from the dropdown menu. These options represent the different Behavioral profile available to you. Next to each profile, you can click the ℹ️ icon to see the list of behavioral competencies included.
📝Note: The Behavioral profile name doesn’t need to match the job title exactly. What truly matters is that the behavioral competencies align with the skills required for the job. Focus on selecting a profile that best represents the role’s key behavioral competencies.
- Select the expiration date of the assessment. By default, the assessment is set to expire after 5 days; however, you also have the option to select "Never Expires" if you wish to keep it open indefinitely.
-
You can set the step to auto-start, so Recruit will automatically send the assessment invite to the candidate when they get to that step.
Send the Predictive Behavioral Assessment to candidates
When a candidate reaches a Predictive Behavioral Assessment step in Recruit:
- If you’ve enabled auto-start, Recruit will automatically send the assessment to the candidate when they reach the assessment step. If not, click Start.
-
Candidates will receive an email invite to complete the assessment, which takes under 20 minutes on any device.
See assessment step status
When you invite a candidate to a Predictive Behavioral Assessment, the candidate list shows a status label with their progress for that step:
- Assessment: ready to start – The candidate reached the assessment step and auto-start is off
- Assessment: in progress – The candidate was invited and has not submitted yet
- Assessment: completed – The candidate submitted the assessment
-
Assessment: expired – The deadline passed and the candidate did not submit
Non-submitted assessments
Expired Predictive Behavioral Assessment
Spark Hire Meet assessments will expire according to your settings for the step at midnight PST. When the Predictive Behavioral Assessment expires, the step will be completed in Recruit, and the summary of the step will indicate that the step has expired.
A “Proceed with candidate?” step will be automatically created and assigned to the person with a role on the hiring team according to your settings, and they will be able to choose whether to go/no-go with the candidate or resend the interview invitation.
Canceled Predictive Behavioral Assessment
If a Predictive Behavioral Assessment is canceled on Spark Hire Meet, the step will be completed in Recruit and the summary of the step will indicate that the step was canceled.
A “Proceed with candidate?” step will be automatically created and assigned to the person with a role on the hiring team according to your settings and they will be able to choose whether to go/no-go with the candidate or resend the interview invitation.
View and share assessment results
After candidates complete the Predictive Behavioral Assessment:
- Their assessment score is included in their overall ranking on the candidate list.
- Recruiters and hiring managers can view the full report under the Evaluation tab on the candidate profile, including a link to the assessment on Meet.
- You can download the Hiring PDF report (in English) directly from Recruit to share with other teammates.
