Delete a candidate

You can delete a candidate from Recruit by following these steps:

1. Navigate to the candidate you want to delete.

2. Click the three dots (…) next to the ✏️ pencil icon and select Remove candidate.

   

3. Choose how you want to handle the candidate data:

   1. Pseudonymize candidate and all hiring processes – Replaces personally identifiable information with placeholders and deletes data according to your company settings while retaining anonymized data for reporting.
   2. Delete only this hiring process – Removes the candidate from the current hiring process while keeping their candidate profile and any other hiring processes intact.

   3. Delete candidate and all hiring processes – Permanently removes the candidate profile and every associated hiring process.

      

   4. Click Remove to confirm.

Reasons to delete a candidate

• The candidate was added to the system for testing or by mistake.

• The candidate requested their personal data to be removed from your database.
