Plan: All plans

Role: Hiring team

As recruiters, you've probably faced the task of sorting through unexpected CVs or figuring out where to place resumes that weren't specifically requested.

Pool position

A candidate pool is a great way to create a group of preliminarily vetted candidates. By setting the position to a Pool position, it will act as a holding tank and won't create workflow tasks.

This feature is particularly helpful, for example, if you receive resumes that are not associated with a specific job and wish to store them in the system for potential future openings.

To create a pool position:

  1. Open a new position and edit the name (in case you'd like to publish it on your Careers website).

  2. Jump to the Settings tab and scroll all the way down to Candidate pool.

  3. Check the checkbox to make the position a candidate pool.

If you'd like to proceed with a candidate from a pool position, remember to move them to the relevant position before starting the hiring process.
