Plan: All plans

Role: All teammates

Recruit lets you create interview questions and question sets that ensure consistency and support across your team. With this feature, interviewers can:

  • Prepare and save their own sets of questions in advance.

  • Easily access predefined questions during interviews.

  • Share their question sets with the team to encourage collaboration.

Permissions

  • All users can create and manage their own interview question sets, keeping them restricted or sharing them with the entire company.

  • For each position, all hiring teammates can view and select any of the question sets for any of the interview steps in the workflow as long as the question set is configured as Shared.

Interview question sets

Question sets can be created to aggregate questions for a specific interview type and be assigned to specific interview steps.

Additionally, suppose you prefer to conduct interviews without a screen in front of you. In that case, you can always print your interview questions at any time — before or after you have started the interview in Recruit.

Expected responses

When creating a question, you may also choose to write an expected response to ensure the interviewer knows what to look for in a candidate’s response. For example, if you are building questions for a technical position like a Java Developer and you have a novice interviewer who is unfamiliar with the technical terms, you can add an expected response to inform the interviewer of what to look for in the candidate’s response.

Create an interview question set

  1. From the left-side menu, select Library > Interview questions.

  3. Name your question set and optionally add a description to easily identify it during interviews.
  4. Choose the visibility for your question set:

    • Shared – All teammates can use the question set. Only Owners and the question set owner can edit it.

    • Restricted – Only Owners and the question set owner can edit and use the question set.
