Overview
The Programmatic export feature allows you to sync your recruiting data from Recruit to connect it to your own Business Intelligence tool or keep an updated copy of your recruiting data. This feature is a great option if you have an internal BI team that you would work with to create your own custom reports and dashboards.
📝 Note: The exported data could include personally identifiable information and details about discreet positions or salary details. The use of programmatic export is subject to the Terms for Programmatic Export.
How it works
The Programmatic Export feature in Recruit automates the data export process. Data is pushed in a CSV format every 24 hours to your own storage, which could be an AWS S3 bucket or any other type of storage that supports SFTP.
Export requests are organized in a queue, and the dispatch timing of the reports is influenced by data volume and queue congestion. This means that when a programmatic export is scheduled, it gets added to a queue of export reports, and depending on the amount of data and requests pending in the queue, the time the report is sent changes. Due to this, it's not possible to send the export always at the same time or estimate the exact time the exports will be sent.
Important: Recruit regularly improves the programmatic export reports to support a broader range of scenarios for reporting and data analysis. All modifications are documented in the Changelog. If you're developing a connector to map report data into your system, please note:
Recruit will provide advance notice to customers who use the programmatic export reports if changes to existing columns are anticipated.
However, Recruit will not give advance notice when introducing new columns.
