When resolving duplicate applications, you may need to notify the original source about a duplicate submission. This ensures transparency and keeps your sourcing partners informed about their referred candidates.

⚠️ Important: To notify sources, the teammate resolving duplicates must have permission to Send messages to sources.

When are sources notified?

  • For continued hiring processes: The selected source remains associated with the candidate but does not receive a notification about the duplication resolution.

  • For discontinued hiring processes: You can choose whether to notify the relevant source that their candidate’s process has been stopped.

How to notify sources

When manually resolving duplicates, you’ll have the option to change the candidate's source. At this step, you can select whether to send an email notification to the replaced source, informing them that their candidate is already in your records.

  • This option is available for sources that receive notifications, such as Agencies and Referrers.
