Pre-screening questionnaires help collect information that may be important for a specific position or your company’s policies. When you add a questionnaire to a position, it appears on the application form on your careers page and candidates are required to complete it when applying.
💡Tip: Learn more about setting up questionnaires, see the Prescreen Questionnaires article.
However, not all candidates apply through your careers page. Some may be submitted by agencies or added manually. In these cases, you can still send the questionnaire to ensure all candidates provide the required information.
To do this:
Go to Library > Templates > Application: Thanks for applying.

Click Insert attribute and add the questionnaire attribute to the email. This will automatically prompt the candidate to complete any assigned questionnaires they haven’t filled out yet.
⚠️ Important:
The prompt to complete the questionnaire is only included if:
The position has a questionnaire assigned.
The candidate has not yet completed the questionnaire.
