Role: All teammates with access to the position
Recruit’s integration with Google Calendar helps you and your teammates schedule interviews with candidates. Once your Google calendars are integrated, you can see the availability of interviewers and meeting rooms and reserve meeting rooms.
Before getting started
An Admin or Owner must enable the configuration at the company level.
Connect your personal account
Teammates using Recruit can connect their Google account to see availability when scheduling interviews.
From your avatar at the top right, select My account.
-
Click the Integrations tab and select the Connect button next to the Google Calendar application.
If you don’t see Google Calendar on the list, ask your account admin to configure the integration.
When prompted, authenticate your account.
Once the app is connected, the button will read Connected in green.
Click Save.
Schedule interviews
Once you and your teammates have connected your accounts, scheduling interviews is quick and easy. From the interview step in the position workflow, click Schedule, select a time, and confirm availability for teammates or meeting rooms if needed.

FAQ
Why can't the meeting room reservation be validated?
The meeting room reservation fails to validate when the user scheduling the interview lacks the required permissions in the calendar API like reading, writing, editing, or deleting events.
In such cases, Recruit employs an alternative method via the user's calendar to attempt the room reservation. However, using this alternative method means that Recruit does not directly receive a response from the meeting room.
To fix this issue:
Contact your IT team to ensure you have the necessary permissions in the calendar API.
Confirm the status of the meeting room reservation, as Recruit may not provide a direct confirmation.
