Role: Teammates who can schedule interviews
Scheduling window
Scheduling interviews may seem tricky, especially if you need to set up interviews for people in other time zones or match a candidate's local time. But we've made this easier for you.
The time zone of the interviewer will be displayed when scheduling interviews in Recruit, but you have the option to select different time zones. Choosing a different time zone won't impact anything else apart from the time zone displayed within your calendar view inside the scheduling window.
When you send interview invites, the time zones will automatically adjust to those of the participants.
Interview templates
When an interview is scheduled, an email notification will be sent to the interviewers assigned to the interview step and to the candidate.
For interviewers: The email notification will be sent right after pressing the Save button in the scheduling window.
For the candidate: The email notification will be sent depending on the template settings/scheduler actions (if to send the notification or not).

Time zone rules
By default, both email templates contain the interview date and time attribute which automatically calculates the date and time of the interview, including the time zone. The time zone in the email message, based on this attribute, is calculated by the following ruling:
Location time zone: The time zone registered for the location (in the Locations menu) that's selected for the position the candidate is applying to.
If there’s no time zone selected in the location > Interviewer time zone: The time zone registered on the personal profile of the Interviewer assigned for the interview.
If there’s no time zone selected in the interviewer's personal profile > Company time zone: The time zone that's registered on the company profile in the settings menu.
Calendar invite
When the email notification about the interview is sent to the interviewers or the candidate, a .ics file will be attached to that email. This attachment is what automatically creates the calendar invitation in the interviewer/candidate's calendar.
The time zone registered in the calendar invitation will always be the time zone of the person receiving the invite based on the time zone that's configured for their calendar.
