Plan: All plans; for some automations: Ultimate, Enterprise
Role: Teammates with permissions to manage workflows
Automation speeds up your recruiting by automatically assigning steps to the appropriate hiring team member, so steps in the hiring process can be completed as soon as possible. You can configure three different Automation steps: Duplicate check, Send notification, and Proceed with candidate.
Interview recommendation
Choose if you would like to have the "Not sure" option in the evaluation form for the interviews.
Configure automation
Automation steps are assigned to the recommended roles by default. Any step can be reassigned to a different role by navigating to the Automation page and selecting a new assignee.
Send notification
A Send notification step is created based on your email template configuration. By default, certain email templates, like Rejection: After video interview or Hired: Welcome aboard, are configured to create a Send notification step. You can modify them by company using the Email templates settings.
This step is assigned to all position recruiters by default, and this setting can be changed to include other roles.
Proceed with candidate
Whenever a candidate receives a "Not sure" or "No hire" recommendation after an interview, a new Go/No-go step is created in the workflow and assigned by default to All position recruiters (you can change this to include other roles). This allows the recruiters to choose whether the candidate should proceed or be rejected.
Cool-down period
Automation gives you the option to decide whether you want Recruit to automatically manage duplicate applications. In the event that an identical application is submitted, Recruit will merge the candidate profiles and record this in the candidate's activity log.
You can configure one of three settings:
When submitted within [x] days for the same position.
When submitted within [x] days for any position.
Disable automatic handling of duplicates.
Consider a candidate for multiple positions
Recruit enables you to evaluate a candidate for multiple positions simultaneously. In such cases, each position will have its own distinct hiring process for the candidate. The automation setting provides you with the ability to restrict the number of concurrent processes a candidate can be considered for.
Auto-scheduling
The Auto-scheduling feature allows interviewers to share their availability with candidates, enabling candidates to choose a convenient interview time. The automation settings allow you to specify how many business days into the future the candidate can view the interviewer's availability.
Automatically fill candidate contact info
Recruit can automatically update a candidate’s email address and phone number from agency responses when you use the Candidate: Request details template.
Enable this option to allow Recruit to fill in missing or updated candidate contact information from the agency’s response.
