Role: Teammates with permission to edit workflows
You can customize the names of workflow steps to match your hiring process. To change the name of a workflow step:
Navigate to the relevant position and select the Workflow tab, or open the candidate’s workflow
Select the step you want to update.
Open the dropdown under the step name.
Select a different step from the list.
All preset steps are available in the dropdown.
Each step name can only be used once in a workflow. This helps keep reporting accurate. To use a similar step more than once, create each step with a unique name. For example, instead of using Hiring manager interview twice, use:
- Hiring manager interview 1
- Hiring manager interview 2
When you update a step in a position workflow, the change applies to candidates who have not reached that step yet.
To create a custom step name, add a step template before updating the workflow.
