Local recording
Recruit-generated Zoom links use local recording, meaning the recording file is saved directly to the host’s device. This requires manual action for each session. After the meeting, Zoom will prompt the host to choose a folder for storing the recording.
By default, only the meeting host can record. If another participant wants to record, Zoom will ask them to request permission from the host.
Meeting host
When using Recruit’s Zoom integration, the Zoom link isn't tied to a specific calendar. The first interviewer to join automatically becomes the host and can transfer or add this role to another teammate.
⚠️Important: The host assignment is only included in the interviewer invite. If you join using the same Zoom link as the candidate, you won’t have host permissions.
FAQ
Can the candidate record the meeting?
Candidates cannot record the meeting unless the host grants them permission. However, if a candidate uses third-party screen recording software, Recruit cannot detect or prevent it.
