Ready to kick off your recruitment journey? Let's start by creating your first position:
Open a new position and set up the workflow.
Write the description of the position.
Define the scorecard of the position.
Edit the position’s settings—image, questionnaires, referral bonus, salary expectations, candidates pool, and candidate import.
Add a Hiring team and set their permissions in the test position.

2. Run a test process
Now that you've got your position set up, let's run a test process. This hands-on experience will familiarize you with the flow, from candidate application to evaluation.
Add a candidate (➕) from the main page.
Edit the candidate's details.
Add tags for the candidate on the candidate card.

Time to get your positions out there! Explore the power of publishing and promoting your openings with Recruit.

Add a source to a position.

4. Foster communication
Communication is key for building strong connections with your team and candidates! Discover how Recruit empowers you to seamlessly communicate both internally and externally.
To communicate internally with teammates:
Navigate to the candidate profile and start a conversation.
Continue the discussion via email by replying to the reply-to email address.
You can then go back to the candidate’s activity log at any time and track and review all your interactions with them.
To communicate externally, custom templates can make your life easier—for example, if you need to send the same message multiple times.
Navigate to Library > Custom templates and create your own Custom templates.
Choose between company and personal templates, add the relevant attributes, edit the text, and save it.
Navigate to the candidate you created before, send them an email by clicking on the envelope icon ??, and choose a template from the list.

5. Resolve duplicate applications
When you add new candidates, Recruit automatically checks for duplicates by comparing information to existing candidates 🪄
Add a candidate (➕) with the same details as the one you created in Step 2.
Click Resolve when the duplication alert is displayed.
You can resolve duplicate applications automatically or manually depending on the preferences defined in your company’s settings. If you can’t resolve duplicates, ask your Admin to set it up for your account.
6. Try out Recruit Sourcing for Chrome
The Recruit Sourcing extension for Chrome is a great tool for recruiters searching for prospects on LinkedIn ????. The extension allows you to add prospects directly to Recruit without leaving LinkedIn and even notifies you if the applicant is already in Recruit.
Navigate to the Chrome Web store and add the extension.
Visit LinkedIn and look for potential candidates.
Download the CV of the relevant candidate and upload it to the Recruit Sourcing for Chrome pop-up.
Add a position and a source and click Add to Recruit.

9. Test the Talent search
Ready to become a search master? Explore Recruit's Advanced search features and unlock the potential of targeted searches.
Click Talent on the left-side menu
Add as many filters as needed—personal details, background, and hiring process. Dive deep with keywords, tags, and 30+ filters.
Employ a boolean search to combine keywords with operations.
Take bulk actions like sending email notifications or changing their status.

10. Set up your personal settings
Time to personalize your Recruit account. Your My Account page will be the starting point here ? You’ll find this page by clicking on the avatar at the top right 👆
Hit Profile and add your profile picture and email signature.
Move to the Notifications tab and set up your notification preferences.
Hit Integrations, and connect your calendar. Enter your credentials when prompted, click Confirm, and Save. If you don't spot your specific calendar provider, ask your Admin to set it up for your account 😉.
