The Auto-update candidate details feature is designed to streamline the process of updating candidate information, such as phone number and email address, often missing when agencies submit candidate profiles.
More often than not, recruiters have to request these details from the agencies, wait for a response, and then manually update the candidate profiles themselves. With this automation feature enabled, you can request candidate information and Recruit will automatically update the candidate's profile once the agency responds. This not only saves time but also ensures that candidate profiles are accurate and up-to-date.
Enable auto-update of candidate contact details
From the left-side menu, select Settings > Hiring setup > Automation.
Scroll down to find Automatically fill candidate contact info.

Check the box to enable the feature.

How it works
After you’ve requested a candidate’s contact information and the source replies to your email:
Recruit will extract the phone number and email address from the email and update the fields in the candidate’s profile.
If only one piece of information (either phone number or email) is found, only that field will be updated.
If the candidate already has existing contact details, whether it's a phone number, email address, or both, the new information won't overwrite the existing data.
If a phone number or email address cannot be found, neither field will be updated, and you won’t see any notifications.
A notification will appear in the candidate’s activity log, indicating that the contact details (phone number, email address, or both) have been updated automatically.
