Role: Teammates with permission to edit workflows
The Interviewer role can be assigned to a teammate only by adding them to an Interview step (not by changing their role in the Hiring team settings).

Open a position, then click the step where you would like to add an interviewer.

Select Add participant:

Type in your teammate's name

Manually add an email address to invite someone who is not an active Recruit user.

⚠️ Important:
You can only invite interviewers who are not active Recruit users to the workflow if you hold an Owner or Admin role.
If your company uses a third-party SSO integration, you'll need to create a temporary user account with your company's email for interviewers outside your company.
