Role: Owner ✧ Admin ✧ Recruiter ✧ Hiring team
From time to time, you may need to reassign a candidate to a different position to better align their skills and qualifications with the right role. If this is the case, Recruit allows you to change a candidate's position very easily.
💡Learn how to consider a candidate for multiple positions.
Move a candidate to a different position
To change a candidate's position:
In Recruit, navigate to the relevant candidate profile.
-
Click the three dots (…) next to the candidate status and choose Change position.
-
Choose the new position you would like to move your candidate to.
Select where to place the candidate within the workflow. Let’s say you have already completed a CV Screen for the candidate, you may not need to re-do that step and can simply place the candidate in the next step immediately following the CV Screen.
-
If necessary, change the candidate's source for the new position.
Click Change Position.
Once the candidate is moved to a new position:
-
A notification will appear in the candidate's Activity log, detailing the original position, the new position, who moved the candidate, and the time of the change.
The candidate’s status in the new position will be changed to In progress.
The candidate’s workflow in the new position will continue from the last completed step in the previous position.
