Candidate files
Whether it's certifications, portfolio samples, or links to personal websites or external resources, Recruit allows you to add various file types and URLs to the candidate card to enhance your candidate evaluation process.

File types and size limits
Files added to a candidate's card must meet the following requirements:
File types: cover letters, certifications, portfolio samples, letters of recommendation, or any other relevant documentation about the candidate's qualifications and experience
Files per candidate: unlimited
File size: maximum 8MB
File formats: .xlsx, .zip, .pptx, .msg, .rar, .xls, .csv, .gsheet, .xml, .7z, .txt, .gz, .gdoc, .ppsx, .ppt, .ics, .html, .htm, .eml, .dwg, .gl, .cs, .css, .py, .java, .json, .mp3, .mp4, .psd, .odt, .pem, .cpp, .swf, .apk, .sql, .mov, .dash, .p7s, .dat, .ipynb, .pdf, .doc, .docx, .rtf, .log, .pages, .jpeg, .jpg, .tiff, .tif, .png, .gif, .bmp, .jfif, .ico
📝 Note: The list of file types allowed can be customized for Recruit accounts on the Enterprise plan.
Attach files

Navigate to the relevant candidate and from the 🗒️Application tab, jump to Files.
Click Upload files and choose the file you'd like to upload.
Choose a title for the file or use the file name that automatically populates.
Click Ok to save.
Manage files
After uploading, you can manage your files by hovering your mouse over them. From there, you can access, copy, download, or delete the file by clicking on the corresponding icon.
Click the 🗑️trash can to delete the file.
Click the paperclip to copy the file.
Click on the file to open it in a new tab.
Add links
Navigate to the relevant candidate and from the 🗒️Application tab, jump to Links.

Click ➕Add Link, paste the relevant URL, and click OK to save.
After uploading, the files and links will appear within the candidate's card, below the candidate’s resume.
