Before getting started

Retrain.ai account administrators can configure their account for integration with Recruit.

Configure integration

  1. From the left-side menu, select Apps.

  2. Search for retrain.ai in the list, select the tile, and then Continue to setup.

  3. Select which positions retrain.ai will have access to: All, all non-discreet, or only published positions.

  4. Click Activate.

  5. Click Copy API key and Save.

  6. Navigate to https://app.retrain.ai/ and log in with your retrain.ai credentials.

  7. Go to Settings > Integrations > API authentication.

  8. Paste the API Key from Recruit and Save.

Restrict access to discreet positions

  1. In Recruit, find the retrain.ai integration on the Apps page.

  2. Click on the integration tile, then Continue to setup.

  3. Select Published positions only from the dropdown and Save.

FAQ

Why aren’t my positions appearing in retrain.ai?

Positions that are not open in Recruit are automatically archived in retrain.ai. Check the Archived section on the positions page, and reopen or reactivate the position to move it back to the active list.

Why aren’t my updates appearing in retrain.ai?

Changes to positions or candidates in Recruit may take time to show in retrain.ai. The update frequency depends on your customer agreement. If you don’t see updates right away, wait for the next scheduled sync before troubleshooting.

Why are some candidate skills missing in retrain.ai?

Skill extraction depends on how the candidate’s CV is parsed. If the CV is an image or has complex formatting, some skills may not be recognized. Try using text-based CVs for better results, or manually review and adjust the candidate’s profile.
