The Apply with LinkedIn feature simplifies the application process for candidates applying for open positions on your careers site, by allowing them to use their LinkedIn profile. This feature is included in the Apply Connect integration.

Enable Apply with LinkedIn

📝 Note: The Apply with LinkedIn widget is only available for companies that have integrated Spark Hire Recruit with their LinkedIn Recruiter account. To enable the widget, make sure to select the Apply with LinkedIn checkbox when configuring your packages.

  1. From the left-side menu, select Apps.

  2. Search for LinkedIn and select the tile.

  3. On the Recruit setup tab, under LinkedIn widgets in Recruit, check the box for Apply on LinkedIn with "LinkedIn Apply” button on the application form on the careers website.

When candidates apply to one of your open positions on your integrated careers website or on Spark Hire Recruit’s hosted website, they’ll see the following button in the application form:

What happens when candidates apply with LinkedIn

  • When candidates apply using Apply with LinkedIn, instead of having to add their contact details, the application form will automatically populate with their details from LinkedIn.

  • By default, candidates will still be required to upload their resume. If you wish to make the resume optional when applying with LinkedIn, you can customize the Application form’s settings according to your careers website integration:

    • WordPress plugin: Navigate to the plugin’s settings to customize the required fields.

    • Careers API: Use the require-profile setting option, as detailed on this page.

    • Hosted website: Customization is not available.

  • The candidate’s profile from LinkedIn will show in Recruit under the LinkedIn tab.
