How recruiters can leverage the RSC integration
๐ Note: The RSC integration is designed for syncing candidate activity and communication between LinkedIn and Recruit. It does not support posting positions to LinkedIn. To publish jobs to LinkedIn, use the Apply Connect integration.
-
Access current and past recruiting activities from Recruit directly on the LinkedIn tab in candidates' profiles.
Quickly access their LinkedIn profile (when available).
Send InMail messages to candidates directly from Recruit.
-
Create or update Recruit candidate records with LinkedIn data.
Sync past and future candidate position details, candidate details, and candidate steps in the workflow.
View position and candidate recruiting activities directly within LinkedIn, based on Recruit role permissions.
View up-to-date candidate LinkedIn profiles in Recruit without switching contexts.
-
View LinkedIn Recruiter InMail history and notes directly within Recruit.
Synced data includes InMail conversations and notes with "Anyone in the organization" visibility.
From the candidate profile, change the view of the candidate activity from Recent (default) to LinkedIn. This option is available for teammates with permission, for more information see company roles.
๐ Note:
The initial sync may take a few hours to complete.
To stop syncing data, see Deactivate the integration with LinkedIn.
Enabling this feature imports past and future candidate contact details, InMail messages, and notes from the integrated LinkedIn Recruiter contract to Recruit. Be careful when connecting multiple companies with LinkedIn Recruiter and other systems. Learn more about multiple contract integrations.
Next steps
To leverage this integration, the integration needs to be set up on the company level and on the user level:
Configure the integration with RSC at the company level (requires an Admin role).
Configure the integration with RSC at the user account level (all teammates).
FAQ
Whatโs the difference between the RSC integration and Recruit Sourcing for Chrome?
The RSC integration is only available to users with Corporate, SMB, or Professional Service LinkedIn Recruiter accounts. RSC allows you to view candidate profiles, communicate directly via InMail, and track recruiting activities within Recruit by syncing candidate activity between LinkedIn and Recruit. The integration requires setup at both company and user levels.
On the other hand, the Chrome extension is a tool for sourcing candidates directly from LinkedIn, without a LinkedIn Recruiter account. It allows you to add candidates to Recruit from their LinkedIn profiles. The extension is easy to install and use, focusing on candidate sourcing rather than syncing data between LinkedIn and Recruit.
