Apply Connect integration between LinkedIn and Recruit

Spark Hire Recruit's integration with LinkedIn Apply Connect streamlines your hiring by letting candidates apply using their LinkedIn profiles. This feature updates job postings on LinkedIn quickly and allows you to track their status from Recruit.

Apply Connect features

Spark Hire Recruit's integration with LinkedIn Apply Connect can be set up in two different ways:

  • With a LinkedIn company page: Allows for job posting and Easy Apply.

  • With a LinkedIn Recruiter account: Provides full access to features like applying with LinkedIn profiles, viewing LinkedIn highlights, and tracking job postings.

Get the most out of Apply Connect

Job postings

LinkedIn Apply Connect ensures your job postings are quickly updated on LinkedIn and allows you to track their status directly from Recruit, helping you attract more candidates and simplify the application process.

Easy Apply

Allow candidates to apply for jobs directly on LinkedIn using the LinkedIn Easy Apply option. LinkedIn automatically populates candidates’ details from their profiles, eliminating the need to manually enter information and helping them apply more quickly and efficiently.

Questionnaires

During the application process, candidates will be prompted to complete any required pre-screening, diversity, or EEOC questionnaires specific to the position. This ensures that all necessary information is collected for each application.

Apply with LinkedIn

The Apply with LinkedIn feature allows job seekers to apply for positions directly through LinkedIn using their LinkedIn profiles. When candidates click this button on an application form, their LinkedIn profile details — such as work experience, education, skills, and contact information — are automatically filled into the application, simplifying the process and saving them time.

LinkedIn profile in Recruit

Candidates’ LinkedIn profiles are available to recruiters and managers on the LinkedIn tab on the candidate profile in Recruit, providing more visibility into their backgrounds and most up-to-date work experience directly from the platform.

LinkedIn profile highlights

Recruiters and managers can see highlights from the candidates’ LinkedIn profiles directly from the candidate list in Recruit. This feature enables a quick review of essential details, such as where past candidates are currently employed and their current job titles, providing valuable context for assessing potential hires.

Applicant notifications

When you enable the Applicant notifications option in the Customer Onboarding Widget in the LinkedIn set-up window, candidates who apply using Apply with LinkedIn will receive application status updates directly from LinkedIn. These notifications include:

  1. Application viewed: Sent when the candidate's profile is opened in Recruit.

  2. Resume downloaded: Sent when the resume is downloaded from Recruit.

  3. Rejected: Sent when the candidate's status is set to Rejected and there are no pending steps. For example: if a candidate is rejected after a screening or an interview step and a Send Notification step is created on the candidate’s workflow, Recruit will notify LinkedIn about the rejection event only after the rejection message is sent from Recruit or marked not to be sent. Following the notification from Recruit, LinkedIn will wait three days before notifying the candidate.

    • Note: Recruit won’t send a notification to LinkedIn if the candidate’s rejection is due to the position being closed.
