Synced data between Recruit and LinkedIn

Data can sync both ways—from Recruit to LinkedIn and from LinkedIn to Recruit.

Shared from Recruit to LinkedIn

When you post a position through the RSC integration, Recruit shares the following candidate and position details with LinkedIn:

Candidate fields

  • Candidate’s application ID
  • Person’s ID
  • Candidate’s creation date
  • Candidate’s last updated date
  • Position ID
  • Position name
  • Candidate’s email address
  • Candidate’s first name
  • Candidate’s last name
  • Candidate’s source
  • Candidate’s status (in progress, on hold, hired, rejected, declined, awaiting decision). If rejected or declined, the rejection reason is also shared.

Position fields

  • Position name
  • Position description (including public custom fields)
  • System-generated job ID
  • Experience level
  • Employment type
  • Company name
  • Position creation date
  • Application URL
  • Posting location
  • Workplace type (on-site, hybrid, remote)
  • LinkedIn company page URL
  • Position requirements
  • Lead recruiter’s email address
  • Lead recruiter’s first and last name
  • Questionnaire questions
  • EEOC questionnaire

Not shared:

  • Interview feedback
  • Emails
  • Comments

Shared from LinkedIn to Recruit

  • Candidates (when manually exported)

  • Candidate contact details (if shared via LinkedIn Recruiter)

  • InMails and notes (only those set to "Anyone in my organization" visibility in LinkedIn Recruiter)

Data deletion

Data shared between LinkedIn and Recruit is removed in the following cases:

  1. If a candidate deletes their LinkedIn account: InMail messages and notes imported to Recruit are deleted within 30 days.

  2. If a candidate is deleted from Recruit:

    • Any data synced from Recruit to LinkedIn is deleted.

    • InMails and notes imported from LinkedIn are also deleted.

    • If the candidate is later re-added to Recruit, their previous InMails and notes will not reappear in the LinkedIn activity view.

📝 Note: The pseudonymization setting in Recruit (if enabled) does not affect LinkedIn InMails or notes.
