Role: Teammates with permission to post jobs to job boards
Spark Hire Recruit’s integration with LinkedIn Apply Connect enables candidates to apply directly on LinkedIn using the Easy Apply option. Using Easy Apply, you can:
- Let candidates apply without leaving LinkedIn
- Auto-populate candidate details from their LinkedIn profiles
- Include pre-screening, diversity, or EEOC questionnaires in the LinkedIn flow
- Add candidates to Recruit automatically when they apply
Limitations
- Easy Apply applications are capped for Basic Jobs, that is, jobs that are not promoted. When the job reaches that application limit, the job stays active on LinkedIn, but the Easy Apply button is removed. Candidates are redirected to apply on your career site, and Recruit updates the job status to reflect the change. To keep unlimited Easy Apply applications, promote the job.
- Easy Apply cannot be enabled or disabled for job postings that are more than 60 days old due to a LinkedIn limitation.
Enable/Disable Easy Apply
At the company level
Easy Apply is first configured during the integration of the Apply Connect at the company level. An Admin or Owner must enable the feature by selecting Allow candidates to apply on LinkedIn with “Easy Apply”.
At the position level
Once the company-level settings are in place, recruiters can enable or disable Easy Apply per position.

To enable or disable Easy Apply for a specific position:
- Go to the relevant position and click the Sources tab.
- Scroll down to Integrated Job Boards and find LinkedIn in the list.
- Click Status & Settings.

From the dropdown next to Easy Apply, select whether to enable or disable it for that position. If the option is disabled, you likely don’t have the necessary permission to configure this setting.
- Click Save.
