BambooHR is a human resources platform for managing employee information and HR processes. Integrating BambooHR with Recruit helps your team move hired candidates into employee records faster, reduce manual data entry, and keep key information consistent across both systems.

Prerequisites

You need Admin permissions in BambooHR to complete the integration.

Configure the integration

  1. From the left-side menu, go to Apps.
  2. Search for BambooHR, select the tile, then Continue to setup.

  3. Enter your company name. Your company name is the first part of your BambooHR web address. For example, if your web address is recruit.bamboohr.com, enter recruit.
  4. To support internal mobility, decide whether to select Allow users who hire to choose not to create new employee profiles in BambooHR.
  5. Select Activate. When prompted, sign in to BambooHR to complete the integration.

Working with BambooHR

After you enable the BambooHR integration, changing a candidate’s status to Hired in Recruit starts the employee creation process.

You are then prompted to select a job title and location from the options available in BambooHR (if the position name in Recruit does not match an existing job title in BambooHR, a new job title can be created using the Recruit position name).

After you confirm your selections, Recruit creates the employee profile in BambooHR and syncs the candidate’s information. Recruit sends these details to BambooHR:

  • Name
  • Mobile phone
  • Home page
  • Email address
  • Street address
  • City
  • Country
  • State
  • ZIP code
  • Job title
  • Hire date
  • Location
  • Department
  • Resume
  • Avatar image
  • Offer letter
