Bob is a people management platform that helps companies manage employee information and HR processes.

This article covers the integration with the Bob Talent Management module, which automatically creates an employee profile in Bob when a candidate is hired in Recruit.

Prerequisites

You need admin permissions in Bob.

Configure the integration

1. In Bob, go to Settings > Integrations > Recruitment integration.

2. Create a key and webhook.

3. In Recruit, go to the Apps page from the left-side menu. 

4. Search for Bob, select the tile, then click Continue to setup.

   

5. Enter the Bob URL provided by the webhook and the key.

   

6. Click Activate.

Working with Bob

When a candidate’s status changes to Hired in Recruit, a new employee profile is automatically created in Bob.

Depending on the information available in Recruit, the following details may be sent to Bob:

Candidate information

• First, middle, and last name
• Email
• Phone and mobile phone
• ID number
• LinkedIn profile
• Candidate creation and hire dates
• Start date
• Candidate and person identifiers
• Custom candidate fields

Candidate source

• Source name and type
• Source identifiers

Candidate documents and links

• Resume name and URL
• Profile picture
• Additional links
• Supported files, including the file name, URL, and type

Position and opening information

• Internal and public position names
• Position description and requirements
• Position identifiers
• Department
• Employment type
• Employee type
• Location
• Seniority
• Referral reward
• Opening description and reason
• Custom position fields

Hiring team

• Hiring manager’s name and email
• Leading recruiter’s name and email

After the candidate is hired in Recruit, Bob sends an email to continue the hiring process. Bob controls when this email is sent. To verify which details are used in your Bob account or ask about the email timing, contact your Bob representative.
