Integration with myInterview

myInterview enables talent acquisition managers to optimize the applicant pool and streamline and scale their hiring processes with asynchronous interviewing.

  • Increase the quality and quantity of your talent pool

  • Give candidates the option to apply through video directly in your current workflow

  • Allow candidates to showcase their true personalities and have the best experience

Configure the integration

  1. From the left-side menu, select Apps.

  2. Search for myInterview on the list, select the tile, then Continue to setup.

  3. Copy API key.

  4. In your myInterview account, navigate to Integration.

  5. Select ➕Add integration in the Recruit logo.

  6. Paste the Recruit API key in the Token field and click Save.

  7. Return to Apps in Recruit, and click Activate. Your myInterview account is now integrated with Recruit.

Add myInterview to a workflow

Before getting started

Make sure your account owner or admin has configured the integration.

👤 Role: All teammates with permission to edit positions

  1. In Recruit, click on a position and navigate to the position’s workflow.

  2. Add a new step or select an existing one.

  3. Change the step type to myInterview and select a test from the dropdown menu. Tests displayed here are created in myInterview.

Send interview requests to your candidates

When a candidate reaches a myInterview step in Recruit:

  1. Click start. This will create the candidate in myInterview, link them to the selected interview type, and send them an email with instructions.

  2. To skip the myInterview step in the candidate workflow, click Mark as completed.

  3. If a candidate completes a myInterview interview, but the step in the flow was skipped (marked complete), the evaluation won’t appear in Recruit. Go to your myInterview account to view the results.

View interviews

When a candidate passes, fails, or completes an assessment, the step is automatically marked as complete in Recruit. The teammate assigned to the step receives an email that the interview has been completed.

When the step is completed in Canditech, it will take a few minutes to be updated in Recruit.

  1. To view the results in Recruit, navigate to the Evaluation tab in the candidate profile.

  2. Click Review on MyInterview.
