CodeScreen enables companies to quickly identify the best developers by screening candidates with realistic and asynchronous coding assessments. Companies from all over the world rely on CodeScreen to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and fairness of their screening process and hence drive hiring success.

Configure the integration

1. From the left-side menu, select Apps.

2. Search for CodeScreen on the list, select the tile, then Continue to setup.

   

3. Click CopyAPI key.

4. In CodeScreen, log in with an admin account and paste the API key into the Recruit API Key field.

5. Click Save changes.

6. Return to Apps in Recruit, and click Activate next to CodeScreen.

Your CodeScreen account is now integrated with Recruit.

Add CodeScreen to a position workflow

Before getting started

Make sure your account owner or admin has configured the integration.

1. In Recruit, click on a position and navigate to the position’s workflow.

2. Add a new step or select an existing one.

3. Change the step type to CodeScreen and select a test from the dropdown menu. Tests displayed here are created in CodeScreen.

Send assessments to candidates

When a candidate reaches a CodeScreen step in Recruit:

1. Click start. This will create the candidate in CodeScreen, link them to the selected test, and send them an email with instructions. You can customize this email by visiting Your account in CodeScreen.

   

2. To skip the CodeScreen step in the candidate workflow, click Mark as completed.

3. If a candidate completes a CodeScreen assessment, but the step in the flow was skipped (marked complete), the evaluation won’t appear in Recruit. Go to your CodeScreen account to view the results.

View assessment results

When a candidate passes, fails, or completes an assessment, the step is automatically marked as complete in Recruit. The teammate assigned to the step receives an email that the interview has been completed.

1. To view the results in Recruit, navigate to the Evaluation tab in the candidate profile.

2. Click See on CodeScreen.
