Plan: Growth, Enterprise
Role: Teammates with permission to publish positions
Offering internal mobility opportunities helps retain talent by encouraging growth and progression within the organization.
Give your employees access to new opportunities within your organization by enabling Internal Mobility in Recruit. This feature allows you to create employee-only positions that employees can easily discover and apply for through your Careers website.
Publish employee-only positions
To set a new or existing position to employee-only:
In Recruit, navigate to the relevant position.
-
Update the visibility settings:
-
Set Position visibility to one of the options:
Published โ The position will be visible to all teammates in Recruit.
Published (Restricted) โ The position will only be visible in Recruit to the positionโs hiring team.
Set Publishing options to Employee-only โ The position will only be posted on your Careers website and will be visible only to employees.
-
Click Apply.
When you publish an employee-only position:
The position is hidden from job seekers and can only be seen by employees.
Employees can find and apply for employee-only positions on the Careers website after confirming their company email.
The position is clearly labeled with an employee-only badge.
The position cannot be shared or posted on public job boards.
๐ Note: Employee-only positions are displayed only on the Recruit-hosted careers page and are not available through the Careers API or WordPress plugin. A custom implementation using the Recruiting API is required to support this functionality on a custom careers site. For implementation details, please visit the Recruit Developer Portal.
๐ Note: When changing the visibility of a published position from Public to Employee-only, it will be removed from any job boards it was previously published to.
Visibility and tracking of internal candidates
- Tasks: Tasks related to candidates who are company employees are clearly marked as Internal.
-
Sources: These internal candidates appear under a source called Employees, with the source type Internal mobility.
- Reports: You can monitor and compare internal mobility performance over time in your reports. Internal mobility appears alongside other source types to help you understand its contribution as a source of new hires.
