Plan: All plans

Role: All teammates

We’ve redesigned Recruit’s navigation and refreshed key experiences to help you work faster, find what you need more easily, and feel confident navigating the platform every day.

You told us that navigation felt inconsistent and that important tools could be hard to find. We listened and delivered a unified navigation and a set of UX improvements designed to create the best experience for recruiters and hiring managers alike. The result: less hunting, faster decisions, and an interface that scales as your team and processes grow.

Why we’re making these updates

Teams asked for a clear, predictable way to move around Recruit and faster paths to everyday tasks. Before, teams experienced challenges like:

  • Navigation that varied by module
  • Similar features using different styles and patterns

This release focuses on:

  • A predictable structure with a unified left-hand navigation and consistent menus
  • Improved filters and clearer workflow step styles
  • A centralized Library
  • A professional, modern experience with updated visuals that improve the overall usability of the platform.
  • Minimize disruption for everyday users by introducing navigation and UX improvements in a single release.
  • Room to grow through a simple and friendly foundation for additional features that are coming in 2026

What changed?

  • A new left-hand main menu—Switch between Hiring, Talent, Library, Sources, Analytics, Teammates, Apps, and Settings from one consistent sidebar
  • Consistent menus—Page options are easier to find, and the tools you need when editing an item are in a consistent place
  • Improved position list filters (under Hiring)—The position list now starts with My positions and All positions, with a cleaner filter experience to help you narrow results faster
  • Clearer workflow steps—Updated step styles make it easier to understand each stage at a glance, including Go/No Go, Interview, Administrative, and Offer steps
  • A new Library—Manage Scorecards, Questionnaires, Interview questions, and Email templates in one place in a searchable, unified table layout.

New navigation system

  • Left-hand primary navigation with simplified icons for major modules.
  • Consistent global menus for secondary and tertiary navigation.
  • The global top bar remains for platform-wide actions like notifications and help.

We organized key areas into the left sidebar so they’re always one click away. Items that used to live under your avatar menu now appear in clear modules. Here’s how labels and locations map in the new layout:

Across these modules, page options sit just below the header (2), and editor tools appear in a consistent spot when you open an item (3).

What we’re keeping in the avatar menu (top right)

The following account and company items remain under your avatar:

  • My account for profile, notifications, integrations, and personal preferences
  • Logout to end your session
  • Company quick link to the Careers website

Position list filter

We’ve redesigned the position list filter to make it faster and easier to find the roles you’re looking for, especially when managing multiple hiring processes.

  • Filters now use updated, consistent components that align with the new design, reducing visual clutter and making options easier to scan.
  • The filter hierarchy has also been refined, with My positions/All positions leading the experience.
  • Grouping options, like role, department, or location, are clearly separated and easier to apply, helping you narrow results with fewer.

Workflow step improvements

We’ve redesigned visual styles for step types in the position workflow, aligned with the new design system:

  • Go/No Go
  • Interview
  • Administrative
  • Offer

For Interview steps, we also made existing details easier to find during setup:

  • Email to candidate—Now located in a more consistent spot when configuring an interview step
  • Meeting link—Also easier to access from the interview step settings (for example, a video meeting link)

Soon, you’ll be able to automatically send auto-scheduling invites when candidates reach an interview step and instantly move forward with candidate interviews without the manual work.
