The Position activity feature helps you stay on top of changes made to your positions. This change log captures all updates made to a position in a clear and organized way, so you can quickly see what was updated, when, and by whom.

The Position activity gives you visibility into the change history of your positions and allows you to:

  • Track updates to position fields, including salary ranges, descriptions, and requirements.

  • View the exact timing of all changes.

  • Identify which teammate made each change.

📝 Note: The Position activity starts tracking changes from the moment the feature is released. For positions created before the rollout, only updates made after the release will appear in the log.

Access position activity

  1. In Recruit, navigate to the relevant position.

  2. Click the three dots (…) next to the position status and select See position activity from the menu.

  3. A drawer will open, displaying all changes made to the position, including what changed, when, and who made the change. You can choose to filter by:

    • Section: Choose from Description, Settings, Openings, Workflow, Hiring team, Scorecards, and Sources.

    • Teammate: View position activity specific to a teammate.

Description

  • Position creation and duplication

  • Position removal

  • Status updates

  • Location updates

  • Category updates

  • Employee type changes

  • Updates to position fields

Settings

  • Status changes for the position

  • Actions related to job boards (posting, unpublishing, and sponsorships)

  • Updates to the position's email

Openings

  • Creation of new openings

  • Canceled or deleted openings

  • Updates to opening fields

Workflow

  • Creation of new steps

  • Removal of steps

  • Updates to step details

  • Changes to instructions for teammates or candidates

  • Updates to step types

  • Assigning or unassigning teammates to steps

  • Rearrangement of workflow steps

Hiring team

  • Addition of new teammates

  • Removal of teammates

  • Changes to team roles

Scorecards

  • Addition of new traits

  • Removal of traits

  • Updates to trait descriptions

Sources

  • Addition of new sources

  • Removal of sources

  • Actions related to source communication
