The Time to hire report helps you better understand the duration of the hiring process, from the opening creation date until the successful conclusion of the hiring process, to evaluate the effectiveness of the hiring team. The period filter is based on the candidate hire date.
What you can do with this report
Review the average, median, and maximum time-to-hire to understand the effectiveness of the recruiting team
Investigate the ups and downs in the average time-to-hire over time to identify periods of considerable trend changes and inquire what caused such shifts
Slice the time-to-hire metric data by various criteria, for instance, position, department, location, and many others, to recognize and investigate instances of considerably short as well as long hiring processes
Assess the average time to hire for specific positions, departments, locations, among others, to devise a hiring plan whose timeline is based on past data and experience
Examine the data at the candidate level to identify bottlenecks, for instance, hired candidates whose process was unusually long, and use the additional information available to understand the reasons for the delay
The report is divided into the following sections:
KPIs – Get a glance at metrics relating to the time-to-hire metric
Time to hire trend – Identify trends for the time-to-hire metric over time
Time to hire summary – Slice and analyze aggregated data relating to the time-to-hire metric by selected criteria
Hired candidates details – View a complete detailed list of hired candidates and their respective time-to-hire value
KPIs
By default, this section displays data from the current month, featuring the following metrics:
Hired candidates – Total number of candidates hired within the selected period
Average time-to-hire – Average time-to-hire in the selected period
Median time-to-hire – Median time-to-hire in the selected period
Max time-to-hire – Max time-to-hire in the selected period

The Time to hire trend chart enables you to identify and highlight trend patterns by various time intervals, featuring the following values:
Hires
Average time-to-hire
Median time-to-hire
By noticing trend shifts in the apply to hire metric, you can investigate the causes for such shifts, learn from them, and improve your hiring process accordingly.

The Time to hire summary table provides aggregated data relating to the time-to-hire metric by the following values:
Average time-to-hire
Median time-to-hire
Max time-to-hire
Hires
You can slice the data by selected criteria, including the default and custom position fields, along with relevant additional categories such as Source, Source type, and many more.
Hired candidates details
The Hired candidates details table features all the relevant data points per hired candidate, including the default and custom position fields, along with additional data points such as apply-to-hire, application date, hire date, time-to-hire, and many more.
