The Candidate diversity EEO report helps you analyze the diversity of your candidate pool using data from EEO surveys. This report allows you to assess representation, identify trends, and support equal opportunity efforts. The period filter is based on the date on which the EEO questionnaire was created.

What you can do with this report

  • Understand representation across different demographic groups based on candidates' responses to the EEO questionnaire.

  • Review hiring outcomes by demographic group and compare the performance of each group.

  • Spot trends in diversity across positions, departments, or locations and explore potential causes to make adjustments that ensure equal opportunity for all candidates.

  • Track fluctuations in candidate diversity to identify trends and adjust hiring strategies accordingly.

The report is divided into the following sections:

  • KPIs – Get a quick snapshot of key candidate diversity metrics.

  • Candidate diversity trend – Track fluctuations in candidate diversity trends

  • Candidate diversity performance summary - Assess aggregated diversity data by selected criteria.

KPIs

This section provides a snapshot of key diversity metrics based on the selected period. By default, it shows data from the current month, including:

  • Delivered questionnaires – Total number of EEO surveys sent to candidates within the selected period.

  • Completed questionnaires – Total number of EEO surveys completed by candidates within the selected period.

  • Female candidates – Percentage of candidates identifying as female among those who answered the gender question within the selected period.

  • Minority candidates – Percentage of candidates from minority groups among those who answered the ethnicity question within the selected period.

  • Candidates with veteran status – Percentage of candidates identifying as veterans among those who answered the veteran status question within the selected period.

  • Disabled candidates – Percentage of candidates identifying as having a disability among those who answered the disability question within the selected period.

 

Candidate diversity trend

The Candidate diversity chart tracks diversity response trends over time, including:

  • Delivered questionnaires

  • Completed questionnaires

  • Response rate

  • Female (%)

  • Gender (total responses)

  • Minority (%)

  • Minority (total responses)

  • Veteran status (%)

  • Veteran status (total responses)

  • Disability (%)

  • Disability (total responses)

Identifying shifts in diversity responses can help pinpoint changes in applicant demographics and guide hiring adjustments.

Candidate diversity performance summary

The Candidate diversity summary presents aggregated diversity data at key hiring stages, including:

  • Applications – Total applicants and their percentage by demographic group.

  • Qualified candidates – Total candidates who passed the initial screening and their percentage by group.

  • Reached advanced interview stage – Total candidates who reached advanced interviews and their percentage by group.

  • Reached offer stage – Total candidates who reached the offer stage and their percentage by group.

  • Hires – Total hired candidates and their percentage by group.

You can filter and analyze data by position fields, department, location, and diversity categories such as gender, ethnicity, and veteran status.
