The Marketing campaigns report helps you better understand the volume and quality of candidates sourced through marketing campaigns. The period filter is based on the date candidates applied or were added.

What you can do with this report

  • Review the volume of applications generated from marketing campaigns and their percentage out of the total number of applications to understand the effectiveness of campaigns that aimed to boost the number of inbound candidates

  • Evaluate the quality of candidates sourced through marketing campaigns to identify which campaigns were most successful and investigate the contributing factors to such success

  • Analyze the ups and downs in the number of applications generated by marketing campaigns over time to identify periods of considerable trend changes and understand what caused such shifts

  • Slice the data of applications generated through marketing campaigns by various criteria to explore and investigate, for instance, which positions, departments, or locations benefited greatly from marketing campaigns and which less so

  • Drill down and focus on a specific marketing campaign to assess the ROI of that campaign

The report is divided into the following sections:

  • KPIs – Get a glance at key metrics relating to applications generated through marketing campaigns

By default, this section displays data taken from the current month, featuring the following metrics:

  • Applications through UTM source – Total number of applications sourced within the selected period

  • Applications through marketing campaigns – Total number of applications sourced through marketing campaigns within the selected period and their percentage out of all applications

Marketing campaigns trend

The Marketing campaigns trend chart enables you to identify and highlight trend patterns by various time intervals, featuring the following values:

  • Applications through marketing campaigns

  • Percentage of applications through marketing campaigns – Percentage of applications generated through marketing campaigns out of all applications

  • Total applications – Total number of applications generated by all sources

By observing trend shifts in the number of applications generated by marketing campaigns, you can investigate the causes for such shifts, learn from them, and improve your efforts to boost and promote your open positions.

Marketing campaigns summary

The Marketing campaigns summary table provides aggregated data, featuring the following values:

  • Applications – Total number of applications generated by all sources

  • Application contribution – Percentage of applications per source out of the total number of applications

  • Duplicates removed – Total number of candidates who applied or were added to the system within the selected period and were marked as duplicates

  • Duplications percentage – Percentage of candidates marked as duplicates out of all the candidates added to the system within the selected period

  • Applied candidates – Total number of candidates who applied or were added to the system within the selected period and were not marked as duplicates

  • Qualified candidates – Total number of candidates who applied or were added to the system within the selected period and passed the initial screening step

  • Qualified percentage – Percentage of candidates who passed the initial screening step out of all the candidates who applied or were added to the system within the selected period

  • Reached the Advanced Interviews stage – Total number of candidates who applied or were added to the system within the selected period and reached the Advanced Interviews stage

  • Reached the Offer stage – Total number of candidates who applied or were added to the system within the selected period and reached the Offer stage

  • Hires – Total number of candidates who applied or were added to the system within the selected period and were hired

  • Candidates in progress – Total number of candidates who applied or were added to the system within the selected period and are currently in a hiring process, at any stage or step

You can slice the data by selected criteria, including the default and custom position fields, along with additional relevant fields such as UTM source, UTM medium, UTM campaign, and many more.

The Applications through marketing campaign details table features all the relevant data points per application generated by a marketing campaign, including the default and custom position fields, and additional relevant data points such as UTM source, UTM campaign, UTM medium, UTM term, and many more.
