The Rejected candidates report helps you better understand the different stages and steps during the hiring process at which the hiring team rejected candidates, and the reasons for the rejection. The period filter is based on the date the candidate was rejected.
What you can do with this report
Review the volume of rejected candidates as well as their percentage out of all dispositioned candidates within a selected period to recognize and evaluate the efforts invested by the recruiting team
Discover what the leading reasons were for candidate rejection to devise strategies to reduce the number of unqualified applications, and, by extension, to reduce the recruiting team’s workload
Examine in which workflow steps candidates have been rejected in greater numbers to identify potential bottlenecks and learn how the job description and the hiring process could be optimized
Investigate the ups and downs in the number of rejected candidates over time to identify periods of considerable trend changes and inquire what caused such shifts
Slice the number of rejected candidates by various criteria and explore the rejected candidates’ data on a more granular level
The report is divided into these sections:
KPIs – Get a glance at metrics relating to rejected candidates
Rejected candidates trends – Identify trends for rejections over time
Rejected candidates summary – Slice and analyze aggregated data relating to rejected candidates by selected criteria
Rejected candidates details – View a detailed list of rejected candidates
KPIs
By default, this section displays data from the current month, featuring the following metrics:
Rejected candidates – Total number of candidates rejected within the selected period
Rejected percentage of dispositioned candidates – Percentage of candidates rejected within the selected period out of all rejected and withdrawn candidates
Rejected candidates trend
The Rejected candidates trend chart enables you to identify and highlight trend patterns by various time intervals, featuring the following values:
Rejected candidates
Percentage of rejected candidates from all rejected and withdrawn candidates
By noticing shifts in disposition trends, you can investigate the causes for such shifts, learn from them, and improve your hiring process accordingly.
Rejected candidates summary
The Rejected candidates summary table provides aggregated data of rejected candidates by the following values:
# of rejected candidates – Total number of rejected candidates
Total # of dispositioned – Total number of rejected and withdrawn candidates
You can slice the data by selected criteria, including the default and custom position fields, along with relevant additional categories such as disposition reason, last completed step, last completed stage, and many more.

The Rejected candidates details table features all of the relevant data points per rejected candidate, including the default and custom position fields, along with additional data points such as disposition date, days in process, disposition at step, disposition reason, and many more.
📝 Note: If the candidate is protected by privacy & data retention settings, their name might appear as “(candidate removed)”.
